Would agree with you unless AMart isn't in game shape enough / healthy enough to log that much time....and we're in no position to know whether or not that's the case.

Seems to me if you're dressing 7 D you're riding a real fine line, and I trust Sutter if that's the case.

A definite possibility. The last thing you want to do in one of these games is to be down to 5 defensemen at some point early in the game. It could be that one of these guys is nursing an injury and Martinez just doesn't have the cardio yet to be out there in his usual role.

Alright LA, I just got the best call I could ask for today, giving me my first job in my career path. DON'T YOU DARE RUIN MY MOOD BY LOSING!

I'm fine with them going with 7 D. It's not a long term solution but Nolan has been underwhelming and having Carter/Brown/Williams double shifting on that fourth line gives them a little boost to score. To his credit, Ellerby has been doing alright on the PK and we really need Muzzin to get some offense started, we know he can do it. Those turnovers though... *shudders*

I think we can pull off the win tonight, and am excited about how it will feel after we do, to be back in it for real. The Kings will be hungry tonight. I'm hoping for an early Kings goal to settle all of our nerves.

Go Kings Go!!!

We must find a way to pull this one out & AK needs to do something......anything positive!

KINGS FOREVER

:yo:

So Greene has a lower body injury? That's new to me. I guess we're finding out little by little about the injury.

My guess is that Kopi is hurt but not the knee. I think he probably has something like a mild charlie horse. Watching the last game he had some shifts where he was alright but then he had shifts where he completely struggled. Mostly towards the end of the game. I'm sure he gets caught where it hurts a few times and it sets him back a bit. It's funny whenever you get an injury in an area it always is the first place that gets hit!

Kopi's been so weak on his stick and faceoffs that I wonder if he has a wrist injury. I wonder about Carter too.
