Dallas is a much better team than Vegas.Lots of complaints about Skinner but they weren't complaining after wins over the Knights.
f***ing excuse me.
Dan Cloutier played like 3 seasons in the salary cap era.
At the very least you can say Skinner was a part of a squad that made it to the Finals.
I will not have Cloutier’s honours be denied. Thank you.
The vast majority of people would find it equally cringy if that chant happened in a Canadian arena.
The only people who do that "We are Canadian" stuff is casual fans. That I will agree with.
and I remember when the Blue Jays won 2 championships in a row back in the 90's and the crap from the American media.First of all, calm down.
Second, nobody said every single person in Canada is cheering for the Oilers.
It is absolutely indisputable that Canadian fans and media make the playoffs about the Canadian teams every year. Including some who explicitly say they cheer for any Canadian team to win. You’re not going to Jedi mind trick people into forgetting that this has been an annual thing for decades.
Refs calling high sticks, eh?Refs got involved.

As a Leafs fan, I have to begrudgingly admit Montreal is the most interesting team, though also the biggest underdog.
Everyone is expecting the Leafs to crash and burn as usual, expectations seem to be lower for Edmonton this year, Winnipeg has its own Leafs-complex of playoff mediocrity to overcome, and Ottawa, I don’t know, does anyone think they’re a dark horse, or just a happy-to-be-there team?
I’m not feeling particularly glowing over any of their chances at a cup, but I also wouldn’t be shocked to see Edmonton or Winnipeg in the finals.

Don’t sit here and try to gaslight people into thinking this isn’t a big annual thing with Canadian fans.
Pretty much. Any legitimate hockey fan knows thats a loser mentalityThe only people who do that "We are Canadian" stuff is casual fans.
My wife does it- except for the Leafs. She hates the Leafs. I taught her well.
Funny how some people complain about other teams getting PPs and scoring tons of them when the Oilers are the biggest PP scoring hogs for years. They forced the Oilers to allow goals on 3 straight PK’s?
exactly, die hard fans don't cheer for other Canadian teams. The only people who do that "We are Canadian" stuff is casual fans.

Mcdavid and Draisaitl can have 3-4 points games and still lose since they have the great equalizer in Skinner. That first goal by Draisatl was absolutely nuts. Watched the whole sequence that him and Mcdavid did. It was just unfair. No other players can do what they do
Even tho was an embarrassing loss again for the Oilers can never count them out with McDrai always able to McDrai the f*** out the opponent
f***s sake, no sense arguing with you. Just read the comments about the Oilers from fans of other Canadian teams on here. Most hate other Canadian teams. Do you honestly think non Leaf fans of Canadian teams would cheer for Toronto?

Oilers are fine they still got this
There is nothing wrong with Ole Ole if it is done when the result is not in doubt. Only idiots do it when the team is only a goal ahead or the 3rd period has barely started.Tell that to the 20,000 people “ole ole”ing at Habs games, which is a hundred times cringier.
Huh? It’s just cringy, no matter who does it.i think if Canadians started shouting CAN A DA at one of their arenas, we would just think it's funny.
But maybe not for the same reasons they would think it's funny.
