Haven't read through this thread after the way it started with all the whining and crying.

Seriously, what a bunch of Debbie downers. A lot of what ifs in the past two games but the bottom line is the Kings still have a chance to make it to the finals and until they blow it, I'm not gonna whine about what coulda been. These guys have been in this spot 2 times already this postseason. They've shown the ability to do the unthinkable time and time again. It would almost be fitting for the Kings to win in 7 again. I think I heard the rangers were the first team to play two 7 game series and make the Finals. If true, the Kings could make that record last all of 4 days. And the Hawks could come out and slaughter the Kings tomorrow but until they do....

Word. I think it's a toss-up, and if at the beginning of the season you had given me a game seven against Chicago to go to the finals against the Ranger, with a coin-flip for the outcome, I'd have taken it without a second thought.

That's my thinking too. After last season playoff loss, you said next year we'd be playing them in a game 7 to play in the SCF, not a single one of us would say they wouldn't want that to happen. It's winner take all and it's been a damn good series with both teams stars stepping up at times. Give me Quick in a game 7 any day of the week. This will be his best game of the playoffs.

I will say I loved the atmosphere at Staples last night. Even when the Hawks went up 2-1 in the 2nd, it seemed to actually get louder after that momentary silence when they scored the 2nd goal and really the crowd wasn't out of it until very late in the 3rd when it didn't seem like the Kings could control it enough to show true signs of tying it back up.

So really proud of the crowd that showed up.

Agreed. After they took the lead in the third there was a spontaneous standing ovation that lasted the entire commercial break. It was a pretty amazing moment.

Q. You would probably have to anticipate this would happen, Where is Patrick Kane?

SUTTER: Everybody was saying it just because he didn’t have a point. He was still very effective. Every time he was on the ice, somebody would say, Cover Kane, or, He’s behind you. That’s who they’re talking about. Just because he doesn’t have a point… That’s drifted into our game, where if you don’t get a point, Oh, gee, he’s really struggling, which isn’t the case. Last two games he has a more than normal night. He doesn’t have four points every night, otherwise he’d have the scoring won by Christmas. He has four one night, gets highlighted. If he had nothing last night, then it would have been the same question again. I’m not interested in talking about Patrick Kane. Patrick Kane is going to get his points tomorrow night, too. I’d be more interested in some of our players that are supposed to be close to Patrick Kane, why they haven’t got anything in this series.

Q. There’s talk all the pressure is on the Kings. Game 7, same amount of pressure?

It's quite obvious that the movie was about the opportunity to make new gremlins, such as the spider gremlin, the gargoyle gremlin and, of course, the genius gremlin that is really the star of the movie.

Love that g-damn talking gremlin.
