Well many of us here have wanted Carter to be playing C, but some think it should be set in stone that he plays with Richards, even though they really weren't very good at even strength this season.
This is the most jump I've ever seen Carter have as a King.
In the games I've seen, it might be the first time I've seen him play center with LA. I figured playing the wing last year was a stop-gap until this season, but they resigned Stoll. The benefit of depth.
We had a Gagne-Richards-Carter line in the finals (as we had no where else to put him), and it was cold offensively. And in that series, it was hard not to score. His speed-size combination is better used in open ice and not along the boards.
Kings need to go up 2-0 in the 2nd and put this baby to sleep.
My first thought on Doughty's post was Carter's post in STL for Game 1. Both would have totally changed the game.
I still have faith the Kings can get this done.
That was weird, I didn't hear a ping at all
For whatever reason Kopitar just doesn't have IT in the offensive zone. Credit Sutter for doing something about it.
I have been wishing/posting DS to put Carter in center since the St. Louis series. Finally, it took an injury for him to do it. Carter looks real good in the last game. I hope he will keep him there.
Second, to spark up Kopitar, I agreed with some posters here on this board to have Kopitar plays on the 3rd line and perhaps put Stoll on the 1st line just to spark up some energy. It works on Brown with the Sharks series.

Third, We need to have Nolan back in the line up and start banging the bodies like Bickel did to us. We need to be dirtier and nastier than they are to win this series. Being/playing nice will only get you an early golf game.
