Again, most of us didn't have incredible expectations going into this. Everything has gone the Hawks way this year, all the bad luck we skirted by last year caught up to us this year.

It is what it is. Kings just aren't playing at the Hawks level right now. I'm sure they'll win at least one home game and probably make some kind of series out of this, but they're just gassed, injured, and not nearly as mentally committed as last season.

I'm not even mad about this, once Richards was out, you had to know this was going to happen even if you didn't want it to.

We need to make some big adjustments in the offseason.

Maybe. The Kings are the only ones who know if Kopitar is injured or not. If he's not, I trust the situation will be handled appropriately.

The vast and wide scoring droughts the team collectively goes through for huge stretches is just baffling. It's not like the Kings don't have a ton of offensive talent, its like their hands all turn to stone at the same time.

The biggest issue is that the guys who can score, aren't getting shots on net, or even taking them.
