Big Game Story: Western Conference Final’s Round #3. After dropping Game 1 on Saturday night, the defending Stanley Cup champion Kings are trying to avoid going down 2-0 in a series for the second time in the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The second game of the Western Conference Final will be played on Sunday, again at United Center (8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT) as the tail end of a rare back-to-back format stemming from the Rolling Stones also using the building. Los Angeles fell behind the St. Louis Blues 2-0 after dropping the first two games at Scottrade Center in the quarterfinal round, but stormed back to win the series. The Kings don’t want to go down that path again, especially against the Presidents’ Trophy winners from Chicago. KINGS need to remind BLACKHAWKS which team won a Stanley Cup Championship in 2012 not 2010. GO KINGS GO !!!

- UPCOMING STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS SCHEDULE -
2013WCFScheduleRnd3_zps68ef6677.png

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the red bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

I'm not sure if I can bring myself to watch this game if Sutter doesn't change up the lineup. I really dont want to watch anymore 2 - 1 road loses.

Exactly. I'm sure tomorrows line up will tell us how the game will go.

If sutter doesn't adjust and take some guys, the out come will be obvious. I really hope we win. But I dont know. This is the only series I feel like we might lose.

Just do the opposite of what they did yesterday, which is show up to play for a damn hockey game. We're starting to sound like a broken record with this team. I guess lethargic starts at every road game will do that.

How about we play like we give a **** today? We cannot afford to lose both these games. Just 50% of what they were last year in the PO would be awesome.

We lost by one goal in game 1 in an early start no less. That doesn't mean the series is over.

LA can beat the Blackhawks. They are a damn good team but so are the Kings.

I still have a ton of respect for Sutter.

Quick can steal one for us today and we are off to the races.

LA has been nails at home.

I'm hoping the Richards hit will wake him and the rest of the team up.

Go Kings GO! Step on their necks!

The Kings have been the lowest scoring team in the playoffs this season. They're a "damn good team" mainly because of Quick. Take Quick out of the equation, and Chicago would be playing SJ now.

Give me a break. Stanely Cup and conference finals two years in a row. Yeah Quick is a huge part of the TEAM. The Kings keep finding ways to win. A break out performance in offense today and this bipolar board will be chanting "We want the Cup". Hasn't been pretty but look how far they have come.

I believe.

Lets go Kings!

Jekyl and Hyde team. lose every road game 2-1 and play a completely different game at home. And they tend to say the same generic answers after each road loss, about playing for 60, not just in the 3rd with their back to the wall, yet that's what they do.

They do have a few players playing hurt, but seeing as how they played maybe the worst game of the playoffs yesterday and still only lost 2-1 with Chicago playing maybe their most complete game so far, is a good sign.

Stoll looked good his first game back. I'm hoping Sutter puts TT back on that line, that might help. He's not hurt and has fresh legs, which they could use.

I'm glad Brown creamed Captain Serious in the waning minutes of the game. Hopefully that will wake the team up. They're never going to match the HAwks speed and need to get back to basics. And watch some film today and correct the bad pass attempts.

To a man, they have to know this is a must win. Going down 0-2 to the HAwks is making a much steeper hill to climb

I don't think so. As I recall, he left in a huff because the NHL tried to silence him because he was writing negative opinions about the NHL on a NHL-owned site.

I can't see the "NHL's best efforts" trying to silence him now that he works for an independent newspaper. Sounds like he's a bit bitter.

From Hawks practice this morning:

Helene Elliott ‏@helenenothelen 1m
Hawks unhappy w/elbow by Brown to Toews' throat w/about 25 seconds left. Toews: 'We know that he's going to be looking for stuff like that.'

Good for Brown. The more Hawks he and boys put in their place, the better.
At least the Kings took the high road by not trash talking Bolland.
