Yeah, dropping a d-man who played 5 NHL games 4 years ago into a critical WCF game is a great idea. :amazed:

Thats why I said YOLO. Go with the flow. Sutter should relax. Put him in and relax. Hell put in McNabb too. Lets just see what happens.

So, if Green is just as bad as Schultz, do you keep rotating those two? McNabb, Campbell, or Bods, let's take a look. We already know what's NOT working.
Honestly? You rotate the experienced guys and hope that one has a spark. You can't just populate the lineup with rookies in a playoff series. It's easy for people here to complain but no one is down on the ice. No one here has to answer for their decisions.

Who are the 7 D? And why scratch Clifford??? I'd sit King!

King has been more consistent IMO. But I could be convinced either way.
I would put Campbell or McNabb in as the 7th, and would put Greene back in over Schultz.
Dressing 7 would also protect LA if Mitchell goes down again. Also we have the top level talent that can play high minutes for our forwards.

I'd be fine with Campbell or McNabb, but why not Bods?

Leave Clifford in. He has been playing very well the last few games. It's as if his light bulb has turned on again in these playoffs.

Keep Schultz in. You don't know how it is to play against Chicago's speed until you do it, and any of the kids will get man handled. The things Schultz was exposed on are things that can be adjusted on his side. Game to game adjustments are something you let a vet figure out if you believe him to be a professional.

I remember back in I think 2000 Chris Therien got burned in a game 1 (got walked around twice for scoring chances). I thought the Flyers were screwed because it was obvious that he couldn't keep up the Pens' forwards. Did a little better game 2 where he wasn't a liability and then totally shut it down the rest of the games. Flyers lost game 2 anyways but then went on to win 4 straight because the Pens couldn't get through the defense. Hope something similar happens here.

BBs d corps had a lot of rookies. Didn't turn out so bad. #Believe.

You need to trust rookies, because if you trust them, they will trust you, and then theres a lot of trust. Believe Slycer.

McNabb and Bodnarchuk is the way to go.

YOLO

I like what Campbell did in his little stint at the end of the year. Seemed to hodl his own. Also I like what McNabb did with buffalo in the NHL.
I guess just the NHL experience of those two put them ahead of bods in my books.

NHL experience is overrated. Bodnarchuk would do good, same system. Just a little adjusting. NHL experience HAH, I laugh at the term.

I get that there is only way to get the experience is to put kids in the game, however game 2 of the Western Finals is large task
