We won't know for sure until the anthem. There will be some speculation based on the morning skate, but I doubt Sutter will confirm with the media before game time. Why let Chicago know for sure?
 
The hawks are due to allow some PP goals. IF we can get through the first period tied I like our odds. I think Sutter is really good at reacting to the game and making adjustments.
I still do not understand the NHL schedule makers. These teams both have to play back to back games after each participating in a seven game series. Hopefully will not matter.
 
I think it's finally hit me that the Kings are here in Chicago, playing the Hawks in the WCF.

It's going to be so great to end their "magical season"

Kings need to get a lot more shots on goal in this series if they want to advance. They are last in the playoffs after being 12th in the NHL during the regular season.

I don't think I'm going to see this one at all, I'm flying back from Vancouver to Toronto at 5 pm PST so I am hoping it will be on at the airport. Go Kings!

If we win the Cup again this year, I demand a t-shirt with the two Cups next to each other and sparkles all around with the phrase, "Pixie Dust gets you Cups" or something similar.
 
Kings need to weather the storm early and get shots on net. They also need to be improve greatly on d-zone breakouts and passing if they want to win.

We can probably make that too :) Throw it on a few Ts ourselves. If anything we can also make some avatars with some pics of Greene checking someone on the Sharks and having some pixie dust in the background and amp up them up on game days with SJ. :laugh:

One of the Sharks fans kept saying after every game that the only reason we won was pixie dust... We were daring him to have a reply that didn't have that catchphrase ...He was so incessant about it that , so now we're sort of running with it :)
 
IMO. Kings really need to generate more offense. Attack the net and shoot at Crawford at every opportunity. Crawford is playing well in net and I don't see him letting in too many soft goals. One or two goals per game is not going to get it done against Chicago. I've got every lucky charm I own deployed in hopes the Kings can be Victorious against the Hawks... GO KINGS!!!!:towel:
 
I'm not optimistic about this series, to be perfectly frank. Still, the game has to be played, and anything can happen.

The game is about glory. "It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we [Kings] have set our sights very high... so high, in fact, that even failure will have in it an echo of glory."

Come on you KINGS!
