Oh mayne De Boer is such a great adaptor to thangs and opponents, also road games sometimes. He changes thangs so greatly, lineup and all and banged up G's. He'll do even better in game 5, blues are afraid already what couture, hertl, burns etc are doing there. Others be just jelious.

What's key and important that I KNEW, I KNEW the blues were going to come out hard on this game and they was aaight, The sharks had their chances too. This game could have easily gon into overtime. It' was a fine ice hockey game and I KNOW ICE HOCKEY.

Here to teach again: Smoke more cigarillos, see ice hockey and learn bout hertl, big joey the G and burns 88. They gon decide the next game. Under the shadows of Couture. Wholl' be even better than these gangstas. Sharks prevail and this IS OVER. Blues don't have the energy nore the intelligence with the goon berube to adapt like de boer does like we all have evindese. This season and series is over so invest y'alls moneys. That's what I doos and get rich. Period.

Was really happy with how the Sharks played tonight. Sucks to lose a game in which (IMO) your team played better but that’s hockey, and now it’s best of three with two games at home. EK’s groin is definitely a concern though.

Gallant calling him a clown was pure projection with how animated he always is about every little thing.

Gallant called him a clown because PDB was accusing Gallant of talking shit to the sharks players and he cited that he was yelling at the refs not at Couture and the other time was when Kane yelled at Gallant asking him when he was going to play Reaves for more than 4 minutes and Gallant told him that he plays his 4th line for more than that. PDB is the whiniest coach in the NHL by far.

I didn't think either team played better than the other. It was really close. The Blues played a more defensive game while the Sharks played an offensive one. It probably looked like the Sharks were taking the play to the Blues because of that, but the Blues really limited the Sharks from getting those high danger chances. Most of it was kept to the outside and Binnington could see most of the shots.

Burns has been flying out there since his terrible turnover on the first goal. 2 posts. Time to hit the net.

Burns has been good. I think, generally, he’s a little overrated due to his inconsistent shutdown performances. He, at times, makes soft D plays. EK is much the same, but EK imho can control puck possession better than Burns; so I give him a pass.

Sharks must tighten up in game 5, much like the Blues in 4. The Blues 4th line is playing great.

Bingo. The Sharks are definitely the flashier, more exciting team. They have more talent. They play a prettier game. Yet here we are tied 2-2, and it could easily be 3-1 Blues. The Blues are a system hockey team, and that doesn’t make their wins any less deserved. It works.

Blues are trying to take a page out of Vegas's playbook and play as physical as possible against the Sharks(especially their Dmen Burns and EK65 in particular). But the problem is they don't have the speed or overall talent that Vegas had. Vegas would lay big hits and then transition to offense using their speed. The Blues came out and hit everything in sight for the entire 1st period and I think that wore them out more than the Sharks. The 2nd and 3rd was all San Jose. Yes the Blues still had a few chances but they were very few and mostly a result of the Sharks taking chances because they were trailing.

I mean, this is the least physical Blues team in many years. Maroon and Blais chase hits, Schenn too at times, but that's about it. Blais just knows that's the thing he brings over Fabbri and our other healthy scratches, so he's gonna fly around until he can't or they replace him

Agree 100% blues came out like their season was on the line and got the lead and then played a great defensive game. Sharks controlled zone time after the first but blues never let the sharks get an open look or a rebound. Binnington looked huge yesterday had the sharks looking for perfect shots. Also blues were in every lane so fast...

Sharks will have to adjust especially our piss poor powerplay. I mean maybe dump it in once in a while... either way this has been an extremely entertaining series...

I love it. You guys really have the mentality of Rocky. Come out for the 12th round, faces beaten to a pulp "ehhh your physicality really isn't making that much of an impact "

The blues definitely paid a price for all that hitting. And maybe it almost cost them in the end. But last night I think was the punch that finally opened a cut above San Jose's eye. EK is obviously hurt. Jones was the only reason it wasn't 5-0 after the first. Blues need to get some rest and come out swinging again on Sunday.

Oh. And f*** you NHL. How the f*** do you schedule A NOON game for the conference finals??? There's no other games! Why the f*** are you making them play 7 hours earlier after traveling 2000 miles???

Binner is going to get beat high.

If the sharks could ever put out effort like they did in third period yesterday or the end of game 3 for an actual full game these wins would be a lot easier instead of having to always come back from own goals and give aways in their own end
