Cal Ritchie would look good in Colo nowNelson....you are aging too fast, this is not what I wanted....
A lot of people quote replied to me but I'll just respond to this one. I agree with everything you (and the other responses) said. My argument is that I don't think Hart is playing like a Conn Smythe candidate, not because he's not making the saves he should be, but just that he hasn't had to be particularly special in the way Thomas, Quick, Vasi, etc. were when their teams won the Cup. Vegas is helping Hart a lot with their clamp down defense and he's not making mistakes.Hart has been great compared to the mess that we had before him, i.e., Aiden Hill who got injured and then apparently tried to come back too soon, and Schmidt and Linbom who were the Nos. 3 & 4 goalies who played a lot of games during the season when both Hill and Hart were out.
But, yeah, if you look back to Vegas' last Cup run, they were able to win with the Nos. 3 & 4 goalies in those games largely because the Vegas defense was pretty stout and kept the number of high-risk shots down to the minimum. Hart is helped out by Vegas being very good about limiting shots to one before clearing it out -- like tonight, Colorado had almost zero second chances.
And who just jumped in the saddle“Why is this bar of soap so slippery”?
To be honest, I've always imagined the entire team just smells like farts. It's times like this where you really see what your leadership group is made of. If you have the right leaders you can get inspired from it. Coming back from 0-3 in the series is possible but incredibly difficult as history has shown. Need to have bounces go your way and I think Bednar should go with Blackwood in Game 4. Wedgewood looks completely gassed.
