great, now lundqvist IS going to get overhyped and if he falters a little or doesn't look amazing, people are gonna start complaining that he's no good ;)

I think it's great that he gets recognition for the amazing season(s) he's had, and think he should be considered a top goalie prospect for the NHL...but it makes me nervous when people start going a little overboard with him. especially with sweden's defensively challenged team this year

Yeah, he gets a lot of pressure from his fans. I don't think we'll see him shining too much in this game. Because he'll not have anything to do :p:

Maybe its just a coincidence someone else did twice, those exact three. Maybe you all read the same scouting report.

Um, maybe you would because Degn was one of the best players on the ice in the first game of the tourney. Why wouldn't you look forward to seeing more of him in the second game? (unless you didn't see the first game)

I know I mentioned Regin and Hansen, in the previous Denmark game-thread. :)

oh please our defense is very week. I know atleast 8 dmen that didn't participate on our team.

2-1

Sweden has a better goalie, but not as balanced scoring as team Finland, so I think it should be somewhere around the same score.

umm, i think that's what i was saying (if I understand you correctly)

Sweden's defense seems weak this year, and reports from their first game seem to confirm that.

It'll be a heavy for defeat for Denmark, I think. 5-1 probably.

They seem stronger than Ukraine did from start. And they play hockey. Ukraine just tried to get as many penalties as possible.

I think it'll be pretty even game.

9 shots for Sweden after 5½ minutes? Mostly quality shots?

Hirsch better have a good game...

Sorry buddy, that's Ronnie Sundin. No Mats in this tourney. And btw, wasn't it Danny Sedin who scored?

yes it was Daniel...Henrik missed his open-netter the moment before the goal.

Hey, no problem, dude. I was just fixing myself a bite to eat, and was listening to the TV feed, so when I heard Sundin, being a Maple Leaf fan I automatically assumed it was good old Mats. But then, I recall some rumors that might explain why he isn't playing. Who's the C for Team Sweden this year ?
