Engvall looking pretty solid on the Isles. On the PP, fast as f.. could be a nice addition on a third line.

Looking at his thread on the Islanders board they seem to absolutely hate him. Not sure about him, Holmström pass on Aho with the defensemen already on the team for a third pairing Salomonsson, Fantenberg and Heed are way better options.

Well they watch him a lot more than I do so they probably have a reason.

Sweden lacks a real 2C. Lets hope Leo comes.

Exactly! But just dont pair Hedman with Ek, it will make Hedman more passive having to clean up after Ek. Let Hedman have his own pairing where he is the offensive one. Anyways welcome back, not seen u for a while here.
EK is massively underrated in the back end. People will finally see now that he accepted an invite. But, he is a generational talent offensively. So, why waste his talents doing the dirty work.

He’s the kind of player that can drag a shitty team kicking and screaming, way further than they would normally be able to go at his best. No matter how you look at it there aren’t many of those around.
(Yes I kinda base this off the 2017 playoff run and the 2014 olympics with trash centers.)

EK65 & M.Johansson are 5+ years older than everybody else on the current Worlds roster. Äldreboende next.

If it was ”just” migraine, and its fixed, maybe he’ll play. But probably not.
The contrast when Lill-Nyllet plays for Leafs v. Tre Kronor is quite telling. He seems genuinely happy playing hockey wearing the blue and yellow. Toronto.. not so much..

Look for the first of Dahlin, Brodin and Pettersson who suits up to grab the LD position!
