Sweden

That's just the Swedish interview with him translated to Finnish, and some added optimism from Miikka next to the quote, haha.

He always says he'd be happy to, that his wife tells him he should play, it's been a while, etc... Then he doesn't come even with his wife pushing him to go.

Erik Karlsson will probably be seen at the World Cup this spring.

"I'll have a few pilsners and relax for a couple of days. We'll see how I feel, but I'm excited about the World Cup."

Well, we have already seen this in the past to no avail, if I was a Swede I would not get ahead of myself until I see him wearing that jersey.

I have a feeling there will usual wave of declines for Sweden, seems like it does not matter if Hallam is a coach or somebody else
Swedish and Finnish NHL players do not like to go to the World championship and it does not matter in which country it takes place, whether beer is delicious in this country, whether the girls there are beautiful, which coach leads the team, etc. The result will always be the same.

Jets (D.Gustafsson)
Avs

Nucks (E.Pettersson, E.Lindholm, Höglander, Åman)
Preds (F.Forsberg, Nyquist)

Raymond seems like he'd go if he gets his contract done in time:

" Defenseman Moritz Seider (Germany) and forward Lucas Raymond (Sweden) said they would like to play if their contracts are completed in time."

You know how such stories end. The contract is usually signed after the World Cup.

Tim Heed has been looking good in these two games vs Finland. He can probably punch his ticket for the WC unless we get 6 NHLers om D, which is looking unlikely at this point
