So pretty much all nations except us have announced their roster. Probably waiting for everything to be ready for Holmberg and Grundström. Roster announced tomorrow?

Sandin, Liljegren, Nyquist, Jarnkrok, Engvall? Any updates there?

As mentioned, Sweden is the last big nation to officially name their sqaud, and with Wednesday @ 14.00 they are clearly waiting for something/someone.

No. But all of them would be good adds. There is also Englund. Its possible Hallam is gonna invite in Everberg and Lindberg.

Nah.

Sweden's always one of the last to present their (preliminary) squad, due to the nature of how they present it.

And when it's presented it can have placeholders that won't be registered to start because they're awaiting NHLers.

Sandin is probably a no-go, Liljegren's an FA that Toronto might want to trade. Weird though that there's no trace of Liljegren & Järnkrok in Toronto's locker cleanout today.

Predators locker cleanout hasn't happened yet, we'll see when it is.

Here is the full article:
They say Fantenberg, Nemeth, Sellgren and Berglund cut. Heed and Bengtsson in.

They also say that the initial roster will be 7D+15F. A bit ununusal. Maybe he can't deceide which forward to cut yet. I am guessing he registers 7D+13F fot the United States game and leaves two spots open. Maybe he is waiting for Liljegren as the 8th D?

Maybe he has some forward NHL'ers on the "maybe" and "waiting to be cleared" list, so he cannot cut FW's just yet in case they declines.

Maybe we'll produce if Hedman, Dahlin and Karlsson can put on a show, but there's not one point per game forward on the squad, so the offense looks kind of bleak compared to some other teams. I wouldn't say we're a shoe-in for the finals in any way.
We have all the firepower we need provided Karlsson and Dahlin playes with forwards that can backcheck. Remember that Karlsson put up a 100pt season on the SJS Sharks of all teams.. Imagine the PP units we can field having JEE 's front presence and Karlsson, Dahlin, Hedman dancing the blue-line. No need for PPG forwards with a D-core like that. Bura can deflect. JEE with tap-ins. It'll be fine.

Maybe he has some forward NHL'ers on the "maybe" and "waiting to be cleared" list, so he cannot cut FW's just yet in case they declines.
Hörnqvist was very clear in that they will not wait for any "maybes". Yes/No. That's it. With that said, waiting to be cleared, sure.

If he registers 7 d then he ultimately keeps Bengtsson provided that aftonbladet is right. Which is just weird he was horrible in betano hockey games.

The players' last day of the season, where they clean out their lockers and are available to media.

15F7D3G makes for the max 25. He obviously won't register all of them until there will be no more NHLers arriving.

You wrote "Weird though that there's no trace of Liljegren & Järnkrok in Toronto's locker cleanout today." Meaning they didn't show up for the cleanout? Can you clarify?

Toronto had theirs as far as I can tell yesterday, but no Leafs journo brought them up.

Well, it remains to be seen if Hallam can get the best out of this squad. I can’t understand why he brought Olofsson, but maybe as a PP luxury. Glad Nemeth got cut, Bengtsson will probably be replaced by Liljegren if he wants to come

Olofsson is a bit of a gamble. But, it could work out. If Tre Kronor spend a lot of time on the PP having Olofsson as a triggerman is a very good option to have.

Yep extremely odd considering he was barely able to play the playoff games. Let’s hope they know something we don’t and added the wrong William :naughty:.
(I mean I’d absolutely love for WK to join but I’d rather they not drag injured players across the atlantic to play)

Lekkerimäki is back in Abbotsford, so he didn't make the roster.

Nyquist declines.
Feels like this is it for Nyquist in the national team. He probably won't make the 4 nations team and his contract expires next year, so probably no home WC either
