I am not negative, just realistic.

Share first place, really ? After one game ? That tells absouletly nothing. I still think we will end up 4th or lower. Serbs beat themselves with really bad PP, but were better through most game 5 on 5.

Always fun to follow these tournaments and seeing all the countries where hockey is being played. Good luck to all teams.

Man the Netherlands are just freefalling down the hockey pyramid at all levels.. 0 - 3 against Croatia today..

As it now seems, Iceland is the weakest team in this division. But we'll see what happens...

Kazakhstan U18 have just played an exhibition game vs. Belarus U18. Lost it 1-4.
One more game tomorrow.

By the way Pan, maybe you do know, Lithuanian U-18s played against Dinamo of some kind and won 4-1 and 5-0. What was that team, exactly? Who played on it? Because it couldn't have been BFSO Dinamo from Belarus 2, they look too weak. Belarus U-17 of some sort?

Germany's U18 played a couple of exhibition games vs. Slovenia yesterday and today, and they won both.

Boxscores:
Game 1: 4-1
Game 2: 10-0

Tim Stützle, the youngest player on the team, had 7 points (3g 4a) in the second game, and also 1 goal in the first game.

Sorry, I dont know. I can only assume it was Dinamo team from the junior league (2001/2002-born). According to their schedule they are having ten days off between games so that could be them.
It definitely was not BFSO Dinamo cause they've been participating the Developement Tournament now.

It had to be them, thanks for the info.

Yeah. On Friday, Spain needs 1 point against Croatia to be promoted and the Netherlands need 1 point against Iceland to win relegation battle.

Iceland is relegated to the 2019 IIHF Ice Hockey U18 World Championship Division III Group A

One game left in this tournament. Croatia needs 3 points to win the division, Spain needs only 1 point to secure the promotion.

So 1B starts tomorrow, I'm quite excited. The schedule is bad pretty bad as far as Lithuania is concerned as we play Poland, which is essentially the game for the 2nd place, on the first day of the tournament.

Don't think anybody's stopping GB this year though, I expect Kirk to dominate and GB cruise to a promotion.
