Gabe Klassen was Portland's leading scorer and among the WHL leaders in assists.

Atley Calvert was Yager's teammate at Moose Jaw and had 47 goals.

Jack Beck was a former Flames pick who led Sault Ste. Marie in points this year.

Does Brookbank stay on as assistant? Seems like a nice mix of a former foeward and former D behind the bench. And Brookbank’s got NHL experience both as a player and assistant.

Most teams go with 2 assistants in the AHL nowadays but maybe just hire a permanent goalie coach to round it out. Not like a goalie can’t run the occasional drill or draw up a faceoff play.
