Wattanite at the Bell Centre, Habs win in OT!

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

What a game by the Canadiens after playing 3 games in 4 night with travel & elevation changes, too. Unreal!

Montembeault wasn't great in this one. That Lekkermaki goal.... woof. Lankinen outplayed him by a mile.

Hutson, 3 pts!! Suzuki, 3 pts!! Caufield played a fierce game. I'm giving him a mulligan on that bad penalty.

The effort of this team has been amazingly consistent for at least a month now.

They get 3 days rest now. Deserved.

Felt like a playoffs game.
Exciting game.
Felt like Monty was shaky tonight.

The team looked solid in the 2nd half of the game after some sloppy minutes between the 2nd half of the 1st and the 1st half of the 2nd.

Hutson was amazing.
Guhle played like a leader.
Much better game by Slaf.

Didn't like the undisciplined move by CC. I understand the frustration though, they closed their eyes on so many interference.

P.S
Man I heard that BK song enough for a lifetime tonight.

Have to admit, at 3-1 I thought it was over, but these guys said no
Yep.

Remember all those years where we’d go down three one and it’d be over?

Well, that’s over. With Dach coming back (finally) we now have secondary scoring and can put up goals even when behind.

Still a work in progress but this is the start of something awesome. Just wait until Demidov and Reinbacher get here.

Lane Hutson is such an amazing player. He wins all the loose pucks and has to be the most deceptive player ever. He's a menace on the right side near the net on the pp.

- Suzuki showing yet again he's a great 1 C.
- Ghule playing like a beast.
- Caufield always dangerous.
- Slaf doing better but too many fancy no look passes
- I still think we keep Armia (and Evans)
- We need someone who can actually play over Pez
- Dach working hard enough to get lucky
- Matheson/Anderson/Newhook flying
- Struble hitting to hurt
- Carrier invisible in a good way
- Serrif playing mart
- Still can't stand Dvorak lol

That is all

Really a fun game to watch no matter the outcome. But imagine with a pleasant outcome like that. Loved Hutson obviously. Really liked Slaf more. Great to see Dach looking more like the that Dach that could.

And winning with our No2 goalie it's a plus....:D

@Runner77 pulling out all the stops with a legendary PGT thread! Iron Kaiden!!! What a game, there will be some sore bodies tomorrow, that was an intense game for the regular season. Which poster predicted a 5-4 win? Props to you!

It's getting to the point where I fully expect we will win no matter what. Something really clicked with this group during the Christmas break. Man, can we break Demidov out of Russia ASAP?

All kids looked great tonight, Hutson, Slaf, Guhle. Suzuki, Caufield, Heineman they all were impressive, I hadnt watched the Habs in a while since Ive been following the WJC, but that team clearly reached the next level, its fun to watch. All this without Laine, now imagine Demidov, Reinbacher, Engstrom ect added to this roster, its going to be incredible!

After going 175 years without a Calder winner, we quite possibly could end up with the Calder winner 2 years in a row!!
You think Mesar has a shot? :sarcasm:

11-5-0 in the last 16 games
