I'd like to remind you that "You Oughta Know" exists.

I'd listen to that on repeat for 24 straight years than ever willingly listen to a Counting Crows song, especially Mr. Jones and Big Yellow Taxi. If the latter had a face, I would pulverize it into dust.

Haha holy shit I just googled "Big Yellow Taxi Counting Crows worst cover ever" and I got a slew of results of clearly intelligent people that share in my disdain. Also this:

Florida Swampland
J-Blues....Shoka Okubo and Juna Serita[ she's the funky jazzy bassist, which I have posted ....I guess she gets around with different bands,,,,,]

The original with Willie Dixon, probably with little Walter and Otis Span

Cannot forget.....Led Zeppelin

1. egads....couldn't let the music go to oblivion on page 2.

2. Lazy Saturday morning listening to the TAMI show of 1964

Oh........try to find Terri Garr and Tony Basil as Go-Go dancers..........;-))

Americans trying to get over Kennedy's assassination and have a little fun.....but in a year's time, cities burning and Vietnam come to the forefront........

But that's all over now...........

OR is it??????

I think this a work-out song for gyms, etc. by No Copyright Music....not a clue who Mokka is; probably computer generated..........every time the Flyers score I play this song now and boogie in my seat and yes Benny.....a sip of Mccallan's 12 year old.......the 18 year old is hidden away......a swig or two when the Flyers are in the SCF......

There is a ton of these "gym" songs on YT under either Mokka or No Copyright Music.......

Lucy the Elephant's Belly

Probably the best album to come out of Britain and Ireland in a few years.

Top 3 album of 2022 for me - fanf***ingtastic

It's a great record. I just don't get into albums the way I used to when I was younger. In a typical year, I might run across one record I really like but that's usually it. I'm trying to make more of an effort and I was lucky enough to hit upon a few favorites this past year. This one in particular was aces and pretty much all I listened to this spring and summer. I've been playing the hell out of Blue Rev for the last month or so and I quite liked The Smile album as well, along with a few other honorable mentions. Meanwhile, I just decided to give Nilüfer Yanya's latest a spin today and I think I'm going to be kicking myself for not doing that sooner:

These guys are so good at moving fluidly between styles. I'd never guess these guys are djent/metalcore.

That's pretty damn good. I should listen to them more. For some reason, the vocalist reminds me of Zeal & Ardor.

Also, for some reason, I get really emotional listening to this:

I just keep listening to it and I like it more with each listen.

I used to listen to a lot of Katatonia. This song seems less gloomy than in the past - kinda reminds me of VOLA in some ways! Good stuff!
