Damn, didn't realize she was hitched. My dreams are shattered. But yeah, Elvis rules. Her husband rules.
Interesting, what are your thoughts?
Petty was a Floridian and his birth state inspired the setting of the game. Also, the song might connect to the story in some way, which seems to feature a tragic romance.
I hate that song - just in general, hippies can f*** off - but you should ask @Rebels57 how he feels about the cover of it by Counting Crows.
There’s too much Tay on this list
Are they putting the list online as well somewhere?

I’m proud to have had heard songs by her and have had no idea that that’s who I was listening to and had no reaction to the song I was listening to.One is too much. Some of these names kill me
Sank you.
EDIT: Holy f***, "Glamorous Life" is 862? Get f***ed.
CONNECTION BY ELASTICA IS 874? 8F***ING74? F*** OFF!

This was voted on by listeners and we were only able to pick 10 songs. Not even sure how they were able to compile a list of 885 with those parameters.
So it's even more pointless than these lists usually are.
For me the cool part is going to be just having a list this extensive of female songs to reference. The actual order is secondary.
Speaking of female artists….been on a Siouxsie and the Banshees binge all week.
I don’t think we’ve had Siouxsie yet
The top 18 should just be the tracklist from "Exile in Guyville," in any order.
I refuse to look at this list. It will only make me mad.
I can’t imagine some of them don’t make it. All the old hippies that listen to XPN had kids who grew up into dark wave. One of if not my favorite female led band. I especially listen to them a lot in September and October leading up to Halloween.
I would hope Kiss Them For Me, Cities In Dust, and Spellbound are all on there at least. I would also personally have Happy House and Peek-A-Boo too. Their Dear Prudence cover is better than The Beatles version too.
I'm not sure how meaningful a list like this can be under any parameters. I'm trying to think of what my list might look like with only 10 choices. Maybe something like this?
Rid of Me & Exile were release within a few months of each other. Wild stuff. Could literally pick 5 songs from either album for this list, and honestly could just fill the entire list up with PJ's best.
And then I'm struggling to find any other specific songs that I'd clearly want on this list ahead of so many others.
