I listen to this as much as I listen to the original. I love the “ ONE TWOAH”.
When I was younger, I thought they were crazy not to carry on with someone replacing Bonzo. Now I agree with Plant that carrying on Zeppelin without John Bonham as drummer would have been like being in a Led Zeppelin cover band.

Lofty praise. What are some of the other in the mix in your estimation? Satriani, Belew, Cuccurullo, Malmsteen, Vai, SRV, Prince, Gilbert. It was a good decade for pushing the limits of that instrument.

Bonham had a unique swing to his playing. I subconsciously use it often in my own drumming. Zepp is one my favorite bands to jam along with...and has been for the last 30 years or so. Fun stuff to play, IMO.

Anyway, I heard the studio version of this in the background in a restaurant recently and really liked it. I'm a sucker for Hammonds, one of my favorite sounds in all of music, and this one even has a bonus Wurlitzer piano section also.

Good song, IMO!
