GDT: Washington @Winnipeg - Tues Mar 25/25 - 7PM - TSN3/CJOB/POWER

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Appleton just has the least upside of all of our players. Because of the pairing with Lowry he gets way too much ice time.
That's the problem.
Barron, Kupari, Gus are all still improving Appleton is what he is which is a defensive player.
If all our guys were healthy I would have a hard time dressing Mason.
Tanev seems to bring a lot more to the line with Lowry.
Iafallo is useful in many roles.
Appleton forechecks ok and overall does his job but moving him up the lineup is not a good choice.
Perfetti is hot as hell and we are essentially demoting him.

My big hope is that Nino can score some goals now that the monkey is off his back.
He was a big producer in Oct/Nov we need that guy.

I hope this top 9 approach works.
Even if I was going to go in this direction I would use essentially ANYONE else in the bottom 6 instead of Appleton.

If we fall behind I think they should try Cole with Scheif and Connor.
It may not be a good long term fit but I could see them doing some damage.

My guess is Arniel hopes that Fly can jump start Lowry and Appelton and that Cole can continue get Nino going.

We are going to need line three to be clicking and he's left them together long enough to figure it out themselves. I don't think it's a bad thing using the players who are hot to try to get those who are not going.

Or maybe Arniel has a plan ... he doesn't want to show his playoff lineups since teams are starting to scout at the end of the season for the playoffs.

Were there any roster moves with Vilardi out? I know Kupari and Gus are available, but wasn't sure if they called anyone up just because... or maybe they wait until they're heading out of town?

I think this thread has gone live

I understand that Taylor Made has downloaded the intrinsic neuromuscular skills of Rory M. into each of their new drivers (quite exciting), but that the chip interface implant into the C5 section of the spine is an additional $40k and three days in the surgical ward?

I like golf, but thats just nuts.
