That was the only banner I wanted aside from a Cup banner. It would have been so ridiculous hanging in the rafters for all eternity.

As a Caps STH then (and now) I'll admit that there were a bunch of us cheering for y'all to win it too just for the absurdity of it.

Hope tonight's game lives up the billing, but really hoping for no injuries.

Looks like PLD is back to playing at the level he was as a Jet. Not sure what happened in LA.

I have no idea what our team will look like tonight. We are worse without Vilardi and Pionk for sure. We’ve struggled against weaker teams for the last little while. Wake the f*** up.

LA coaching staff was part the problem. They gave PLD bottom 6 wingers or rookies. I watched a couple of their games PLD would passes to them and they would miss the pass or shots. He probably got pissed off was unhappy, stopped trying and than tried to do everything himself which ticked off a few players. It's still no excuse for PLD to me that's not a team player if you are unhappy with your role.

Geez, I didn't realize he was still kicking around. The only time I heard his name was when he was a Jets throw-in in the Kane / Bogo to Buffalo trade. According to Wikipedia "On March 1, 2020, he was signed to a professional try-out with hometown club, the Manitoba Moose, to provide cover at the backup position".
