Olczyk really is emphasizing Kempny over and over again, you can hear it in his voice when he says his name and talks about him, he damn well knows this man should have been playing top 4 with the Hawks...such a joke...sigh

Just think if the Hawks would have dropped Q, not traded Kempny, and signed Carlson for next season...

2-JC
42-5
6-7/44

That is a fine D core.

I know what my username is, but that would about do it for me lol!!

Keep Kempny and Carlson together, no reason to split them up!

I would split them because we know he can carry 7.

I honestly think people are sleeping on Rutta. Guy has skill just needs to stay healthy.
Rutta is a guy that is going to make some people look silly on here next year. He is signed to such a ridiculously sweet deal, and will be fully healthy as well. I will be shocked if he doesn't hit 40-50 points next year. Of course, deployment numbers from Q will dictate this as well as adding another vet like Moore or De Hann, but you are right with Rutta, he likely will be such a massive bargain by the time his season is done..

So Kempny makes a pass that any NHL player can make and he is Bobby Orr 2.0 and the attacks on Q begin

Soon people will say Kempny had greater role in 2010 , 2013 and 2015 Cups then Q

What are you talking about? You need to stop with the lies.

Eddie O says it is a great pass but BWC says it is an everyday pull-the-D-in-freeze-the-goalie pass.

2) Trolling: Do not make posts that could be interpreted as though they were made to cause an argument or provoke others. Posting questionable content on team boards, particularly those of rivals, is likely to be seen as trolling.

Again with the outlandish hyperbole, and making up things people never said. Come on man. You're a better poster than this crap.

I don't see many people calling out the hyperbole and outlandish attacks on Q

If you think my views on Kempny are that then care to explain why you are silent on the horrible posts about our beloved future HOF coach who guided this team to 3 Stanley Cups and 2 WCF losses

That is because they are not happening other than the random "anyone could have coached those teams to cups comments". Most posters just ignore those comments.

Do you think Q's systems are up to date? Do you think his roster management has been acceptable the past 3 years?

Your views on Kempny are just wrong and you know it. No one is saying he is is Bobby Orr or the other lies you post about. Sorry but he is a solid D that Q screwed up consistently on.

They're outlandish when you start talking the Orr 2.0 crap when no one said anything remotely close to it. They complimented a pass. Simple as that.

As far as Q, I'm silent because I think his time here has run its course. I used to be a huge Q fan. He hasn't done anything to impress me for 3 years now. And I don't discredit what he has done in the past. A decade with a sports team, as a coach, is a long ass time. It's time for a new voice. That takes nothing away from what Q accomplished here. It's just truth, IMO.

Not surprised to see Kempny play this way with a coach that trust him. Always had the tools but Q wouldn't give him the time of day for some reason. At least the argument for Daley was that he requested a trade. Kempny carried Seabrook the entire 2016-17 season and barely played again once they acquired Oduya. Instead they opted to keep a career #7 in Oestlerle, who Q apparently 'loved', and traded away Kempny for the same value as Tomas Jurco.

IDK, just hard to get excited unless they can his ass. He's always been this way with roster management, except the roster was bulletproof so it was hard to totally f*** up although fresh legs almost cost us a cup. It's not hard to see why the Hawks are drafting in the top 10 considering the atrocious moves they've made since 2015. Unfortunately, I feel like it will be Bowman leaving with Q next summer and Colliton will go elsewhere.

Quenneville had Oestlerle riding the pine for the first ~30 games, so the "love" affair wasn't apparent at all. IIRC, Oestlerle got into the line-up because of injuries or something, then all of sudden Quenneville saw something he obviously failed to see in practice during those many games in the early part of the season.

I think it was Zawaski who said in a podcast that Q loved Oesterle. How a coach can go from never giving a guy a game to playing him 25 minutes a night....Then again this is the same guy that never played Cat with Kane and had him on the PK to end the season.

This team practiced?

Also the same guy that couldn't find a way to get our leading goal scorer more than 15 minutes a night on a consistent basis....
