OT: Washington Commanders 2025-26 thread | Football is fun again Edition

Well, Cleveland IS maybe the one organization that might be willing to become The Sanders Show.

And if you squint, you can see a possible path for Sanders to start there.

They deserve each other, and who knows? Could work out for both of them...

Crazier things have happened. I mean, you know, not MANY, but still...

Is jaylin lane good?
We hope so. He's got some skills that will transfer. He's fast, good contact balance, so he gets a lot of yards after catch or contact. He'll likely be a PR KR at first and fight with Luke for 4th WR reps. One thing he's not, is big, or good at contested catches, but he gets open and picks up a lot of yards.

27 missed tackles, or 26%, which ranks him in the 0% among LBs in the NCAA - WTF?

Jacory-Croskey-Merritt, RB, Arizona

Pre-Draft Analysis

Croskey-Merritt appeared in one game before the NCAA ruled that he was ineligible last season, and he didn't get invited to the combine. But he rushed for 1,190 yards for New Mexico in 2023, and his pro day numbers are excellent. He presses the line of scrimmage, makes late cuts and sifts through traffic between the tackles. He sticks his foot in the ground and accelerates through the line of scrimmage when he gets a seam, too. Croskey-Merritt makes defenders miss without losing a lot of momentum and is a threat to pull away. He spins out of tackles, but he can also lower his shoulder and deliver the blow on contact. Croskey-Merritt has never caught more than 13 passes in a season, but he tracks the ball well on wheel routes and is dangerous after the catch. -- Steve Muench
