Dumb of them to not test the backup rookie goalie, but there maybe be a hidden silver lining here since the Dobes basically cold. Goalies always feel better facing a good deal of shots. The only goalie I know who could handle very little shots, is my avatar man Marty Brodeur!

This is assuming Montembeault isn't back for the third.

Carlson, injured or not, has been bad. Constant giveaways and looks slow.

I hope Carbery rips them a new one. Smarten up and make the simple plays and stop getting goaded into shit.
Carlson never has been quick on his feet! This Habs team play very fast when they have the advantage of match-ups on home ice. I was expecting this.

Carlson has been total ass in the playoffs after being great in the regular season FOR YEARS so this is no surprise whatsoever.

I can't fault Wilson there. MTL had been running around and Caps needed a spark.

Yeah I've been critical of some of Wilson's decisions in the past but they have really laid an egg tonight and nothing wrong trying to spark his team. Rather something like this than some stupid penalty that puts Montreal on the PP

To a man...none too impressive through 40. Sluggish and lucky it's a one-goal deficit really. They can't hope Logan is superhuman every night. Some of those breakdowns there's no chance for him. Way too egregious the play in front of him. Not a whole hell of a lot going on in the O zone much of time either. Pretty boring effort thus far.

Again, where is their offense? I respect MTLs defense but come on. How are they shutting down Ovi so well and Dubois line?
