Monty overall has decent size but if MSL wants to play small, continue to pummel the f*** out of them. Ovi leading the way in the hitting department bodes well for our mission. Will the others watch or join in? I wonder if Willy is ailing a bit or trying to not get suspended, or maybe waiting for Ovi to take a few games off. Pass the hit torch around to find the pace needed/stay healthy to win 16 games.

AA being more assertive and physical is huge - fever's our hitman on D and he is gone. The AA cross check right in the chops to start the series was great to see. You know all those Monty forwards saw that shit. This is AA's audition of sorts even though he has playoff experience he has been squeezed to 4LD and he is playing like he is not too happy about it. That's what I want to see when a bench guy gets his chance. Play angry. Show the coach and GM i don't want to sit any more.

Tom Gulitti reported about 25 minutes ago that Protas left the ice when the other players came on to start doing skills work.

I highly doubt Protas is playing tonight. Maybe game 3 after a full practice or possibly game 4. Definitely a positive sign but not there yet.
