He's been an NHL regular with Ottawa and SanJose for the better part of 3 years now, the talk Ive seen is he and Gregor battling it out

Looked alright there. Sens did well to block his shots.

Timmins had a good shift there. Great pinch, and then made the pass to Lagesson.

Honestly wondering about folks expecting Timmins to be in mid season form.

He’s bulked up significantly and it will take time to get used to it. In the interim he is very good at breaking out and has good vision when in the offensive zone.

He’s made some good passes that lead to shots on net, holds the blue line well and has now put on the size necessary to stand guys up and slow/stop forwards coming in on him.

Timmins needs to be developed here. He has the potential to be a very solid RHD, with offensive instincts and the build to be one of our more physical defenders.

With Gio aging and Brodie in the last year of a $5 million contract and potentially declining, you don’t let guys like Timmins go.
