It's short sighted to lose him because we are cap strapped for 1 season until Tavares expires. We can afford Willy, Mitch, and Auston making their money up front, just not 4 of them

Minten was excellent on that sequence. Went behind the net to support the defense, took a weird exploding pass off the feet in transition and turned a nothing rush into a good scoring chance with the cross ice pass.

He looked really good last preseason too. He's a really high IQ player and it stands out clear as day when he's with better players
