I don't know how skilled they are, but they are certainly a bear to play against. They are gonna wear out any team they face in a 7 game series.
When Gaudreau is your 3rd shooter.... you may have a talent issue.

but they will beat the shit out of you.... to the point you're missing a lot of players

Fox is so good. Best (non goalie) player we’ve seen on the Rangers since Leetch.

Miller was a force. When Miller is playing that good and Fox is Fox, having those guys on two different pairs is monumental. I know people want Miller-Fox together but I really think separating them benefits the team the most (think Tampa with Hedman and McDonagh on different pairs). You have at least one of Miller or Fox out there for 45 minutes a night or so. As long as Lindgren and Trouba are “fine” and Miller and Fox are playing their game, that’s all we need for this top 4 to absolutely cook in the playoffs.

We need more from Igor.

The OT PP was a joke. They blew the game against Tampa after failing to score on an OT PP too and now this one was even worse. Trocheck had that good chance but that was it, overall movement and generation was terrible.

Really hope Kreider isn’t hurt.

I didn't catch both, but how did Kreider and Goat get hurt? Distracted by Golden Globes

I’m not quite sure why Filip Chytil is not our 2C.

I have an inkling it has something to do with our moronic head coach, but I’m not totally sure.
Cause how are we gonna trick other teams to take Trocheck off our hands with that ridiculous contract in 18 months, thanks to our moronic GM, if he’s not playing in the top 6?

It certainly helps when the refs let them interfere, hook and slash non stop all night. They’re definitely one of those teams that will benefit from playoff officiating.

Gauthier got sandwhiched in a hit by Reaves where he got knocked into another guy and his head pinballed

Kreider got stood up by Foligno and messed up his shoulder/clavicle area

two of our biggest players tossed to the side

It was WWF level....the Wild do this every night, so they know they can get away with uncalled jabs & face washes after the whistle, slashes & interference during play. They can't survive otherwise.

Think I remember seeing Kreider on the bench flexing his shoulder. Thought it wasn't serious

Wild coach is also extremely dislikable
Quaritch from Avatar is based on him

The coaching staff nearly got everything wrong.... but there was one gem... and it potentially saved the game?

Schneider in for Trouba in OT. We lose if Trouba is on the ice

This mother f***er is getting moved.

I can’t believe they named this guy captain after the playoffs he had, the talent coming up behind him, and that absurd contract. It was complete wishful thinking. They want it to be true that he’s a stud shutdown big hitting impact defenseman. This franchise has such an irrational perma boner for a Dylan McIlrath that it’s sickening. They haven’t learned anything in decades and it’s the same f***ing reason there’s never any offensive creativity in this god damn place. Be big! Hit something! That’s all hockey is here.

Shesterkin was absolutely terrible tonight. I’m glad he shuts it down to finish the shootout for his own well being. But make no mistake. Getting beat clean like this over and over is absurd for him

Fox can win a Conn Smythe if he plays like this. He’s still just a kid. If he can elevate to this level I like our chances.

Hate to see Kreider hurt but honestly might be good for lafreniere who we need to get going
while I agree in general, I saw him pass up to good shots from either side of the net, one right after the other, on the final powerplay. One was better than the other, but it's a nonissue.
