is his size really a concern any more? Atkinson 5'7. Johnny 5'8. And he's at Boston College. Just like Atkinson. Just like his brother ...

Size isn't the concern so much as the middling offensive production.

He's scoring at a PPG in Hockey East, leading the Eagles in scoring. Its not amazing production for a senior, but it's definitely pretty solid, and if you look at the way he's been trending, there is reason to think he could continue to get better.

Matthew Gaudreau is to Johnny Gaudreau as Stephen Gionta is to Brian Gionta. You know undersized BC brothers where the younger undersized brother eventually looks like a 50-60% facsimile of their older, undersized brother but at a further development point..which at that size just doesn't quite cut it. See also Martin Kariya

Steve Kariya?

Stephen Gionta carved out a pretty decent NHL career. If Matty is to Johnny what Stephen was to Brian, he'll be a solid NHL player.

Yes, Steve was a bit better than Martin was...and agreed, I'm sure Matthew Gaudreau would be just fine with a Stephen Gionta type career
