He is having a great senior year at BC, leading the team in points.

I have never really watched him play, so dont know what type of upside he has, so maybe others can chime in.

Any chance an NHL team takes a flyer on him when his NCAA year ends?

I watch quite a few BC Eagle games and Gaudreau has worked on his game a lot. When he first started with the Eagles there wasn't much to his game but flashes of good things. But this season it has all come together for him.

It will be worth it for an NHL team to bring him in then assign him to their AHL affiliate. Could be another Frank Vatrano type signing. Go down to the AHL and earn a shot to get called up.
