Our ahl coach is doing a good job of taking the lead from our nhl head coach brah. How the hell did this team slip to 2nd to last in the division? Prospects or no, it's a loaded team on paper by AHL standards.
Yeah. Seemed like another lazy hire, like Recchi. Our ahl coach is doing a good job of taking the lead from our nhl head coach brah.
Anyone that work in immigration just kindly deny his visa for the sake of WBS?On Sexton. Asked around. They believe it's work visa related.
How's the coaching staff looking here?
Anyone with potential for a "call-up"?
Specifically, as an assistant? Anyone really gelling with players/moving people into positions to succeed?
Or are they vanilla coaches?
Donatelli's been a solid developmental guy, imo.
Dea, Blueger, Prow being some examples of nice progession and the only really top tier prospect he had was Sprong and look what he got out of him...
Something like 96wins-42? losses the last 2 seasons.
Forrest and Skalde are relatively new.
I'd like to know how much Forrest has helped Prow tho vs Donatelli.
Donatelli also coached USA to Silver at a recent Hlinka tourney.
So, really, not too bad for future possibilities. If the Big Pens go for a minor youth infused retool, it might help to bring one of those guys along to direct development---yeah yeah, NHL isn't for development.
Yea in terms of like if they wanted to boot Recchi and have a solid guy that knows all the prospects very well and has actually progressed them, they could do alot worse than Clark.

Lafferty and Angello having great rookie years too.
