I really wish that two summers ago they wouldn't have given Jordo a 4 year contract. 2 should have been the max.

There has to be changes to the style of play. We can't have the star UFA show signs of frustration two weeks after being traded here. We can't have the upcoming prospects fall victim to it.

There's potential for this group to be fun to watch, but they're not. Out-shooting the opposition for the sake of it isn't winning games.

Pretty sure he's frustrated because he missed the net twice.

He has realized he has entered territory that Aho/Svech/KK go through every year where they don't know how to score for weeks. Unfortunately for Rants it may be until March he scores another.

But f*** it. I'm going to do a 180 and become Mr. Positive and say he ties the game and wins it in OT.

You do realize that Rod as acoach is the fastest to winning 300 games? And they have the second or third best winning percentage since he became coach. Or maybe that only 7 teams in the league have scored more goals than the Canes have this season?

They are in a slump, a massive sickness has just went through the locker room.

Pull up your big boy pants and ride ou the storn we will come out the other side.

How does him missing the net when he has a wide open shot mean he is frustrated with the tram or the coach. Also I'm pretty sure this staff is t preaching for the guys to shot away from the net.

I read somewhere he hasn’t been able to get his custom gloves because of lunar new year in China. He will go on a 200 point pace once those show up. Trust.

They pointed out that Necas has only one goal in 6 games since joining the Avalanche while his average ice time has increased. Maybe there is something to this "new team thing"

And yet, the inconsistency continues. This team has been dogshit since Thanksgiving. The illness didn't make them start playing like crap going back two months.

Rods 300 wins are impressive but again, the inconsistentcy of going through these long slumps of bad, boring, predictable and getting shutout isn't fun and it isn't winning Stanley Cups. The PP shouldn't be as bad as it is. Jackson Blake shouldn't be the best player, Eric Robinson shouldn't be one of the leading goal-scorers.

My comment about Rants was tongue in cheek. I'm going to let this 3rd play out and give the team in general a chance to actually do something useful and f***ing score a goal.
