Reddit showed me some advanced stats that says he’s shit so I just ran with thatThat's Tarasenko you're referring to?
He's been the best winger on the team from a defensive standpoint. Reliable, situationally aware, unafraid to make the right play.
You're right in that he's good at everything else. His production as a middle six player with second unit PP time exceeds expectations.
Although it's wise to move him, he's the exact kind of player Ottawa needs.
2nd round pick.
I’ve definitely enjoyed watching him play.Tank has been absolutely solid on our terrible Sens team. Tank @2.5 will be the best add for a playoff team.
Probably similar to the Taylor Hall return. 2nd + Andres Bjork (a nobody)
Yep, another team can take on 25%, for a max of up to 75%will be a Ranger on the cheap this summer anyways, would've been nice to get him for this upcoming run. Anyone know if a third team can get involved as a loophole to retain salary so he can get shipped back to NYR this deadline?
Hall had 2 goals in 37 games before getting traded to Boston at a 4.000 cap hit.
Tarasenko is at about a 25g/60p pace.
He was traded a year ago for a 1st+ at an almost identical pace.
He'll also be at 2.500 instead of 3.750 from last year.
NHL math doesn't always add up, but a late 2nd and a nobody seems quite a bit lower than what history suggests.
would give up a 2nd + Berard for himYep, another team can take on 25%, for a max of up to 75%

No, multiple contenders are after him. Even if Florida is his top choice, gotta pay something.Too much...

Why respond to that plug? Guys opinion is worthless on here. Mantha just went for a 2nd and a 4th isnt close to as good or as valuable and Tarasenko will have a lower cap hit.Hall had 2 goals in 37 games before getting traded to Boston at a 4.000 cap hit.

There's 0 logic behind this other than you dont want to pay what he is worth. There isnt one legitimate argument to be made. The Mantha's price should be the Tarasenko price
Exhibit A of why this place is just terrible now that we have too many advanced stats experts that dont understand the sport.Reddit showed me some advanced stats that says he’s shit so I just ran with that
Literally dont have an asset id do it for on your entire team. Short of the unimaginable. Its the weakest position on the team by a mile. He's signed to a great contract and the sens have depth everywhere except goal and RD. They literally need to clear cap space to add another RD. They are searching for another Zub he simply isnt available. That type of deal is the dream from the Oilers. Gets us our top 4 D replacement for Ceci and a scoring winger for DraisaitI. I don't see why Ottawa entertains trading Zub though.
What do you think the ask would be, just out of curiosity.
0 interest in this for Ottawa. His preferred destination is Florida.

Yep, he's likely looking for the opportunity to show case his talent so that he can increase his return on his next contract. He’s #7 on the TSN list and #4 on Seravalli’s.
The interest in him seems to be there and he also seems like a sure bet to be traded. The price seems like it’s going to come down to how difficult he wants to be with his full NTC.
