There are a handful of seats in the building, that have slightly obstructed views. (looking through glass barriers)

I just quickly looked, and couldn't find a decent price for seats in the 300 on Capital Tickets.

For my money, I would go to Stubhub and get tickets. They have Row H in section 303 for $45 each, vs $80+ from Capital Tickets.

Check stub hub, I always find the best prices there. any seat is good. Some seats do have glass as previously mentioned but no real veiw blocks anywhere.

Going to piggyback on this thread as I've never used Stubhub. They legit? No problems? Prices seem great from what I've been looking at.

I've used them for sens, buffalo bills and concert tickets and no problems.

Stub hub was the official recommended ticket resale place when I was a season seat owner by sens too IIRC.

I'll be there Saturday in my islanders hat! Pumped. Looking forward to it.

I'm reading good things about this bar The Sens House to pregame. Good spot?

It's decent. Nothing really that special.

Be aware though that the Sens House is downtown, whereas the arena is in Kanata. It's about a 30 minute drive from Downtown to Kanata. There are quite a few eating locations though in Kanata closer to the arena, that will offer the same or better menus.

If you are staying downtown, then there are plenty of places that offer shuttles to and from the game, I'm not sure if Sens House does or not.

Yea staying at the Albert downtown. I'll look out for these shuttles.

Thanks!

Yeah, I got tickets from StubHub for the McDavid Cup last year on Valentine's Day... seats on the glass basically for less than 90 bucks :D
And that was the start of the turnaround for the season!

Ya, Sens House has a great vibe for watching the game, but I've never eaten there and I feel like you'd get the same pre-game experience in Kanata (ie. good food, minimal chatter about the game haha). And just when everything starts to get good at Sens House, you'll need to leave to get to the game.

Can you suggest a place in kanata to check out?

Central Bierhaus.

Ya, this. Fill up on sausages, potato salad and sauerkraut.

In terms of standard fare (wings etc), there are a bunch of chain restaurants around there. I always liked going to Kelsey's pre-game, but there is a Boston Pizza, and a few others. This isn't exactly pre-game, but if you want higher class stuff, there is a Moxie's, a Milestone's, another fancy steakhouse as well.. there is a ton of choice. These are all located in the huge shopping area called Kanata Centrum.

But if I'm going pre-game, Bierhaus for german food or Kelseys for wings and burgers.

Central Bierhaus.

Yeah I'd check this place out too if your going in this area.

Great food and awesome selection of beer.

Like UncleDenis said though, there are tons of places to eat in the centrum.

Haha, and yeah like Bonk said, stay far far away from those 2 places. LOL

Does it have a shuttle to game?

yeah ive seen stubhub but thought id ask on here too to cut the middle man and avoid stubhub fees

is there a facebook page for people wanting to sell tickets or anything like other teams have?

Yeah I was in town for Hammonds 1st game last year vs Montreal anyways I forget the name of the place but I took a shuttle from a pub down by the nature museum and we left at 6:45pm (7:30 puckdrop) and we still missed a good 10 minutes of the first :shakehead

I can almost guarantee that if you wait until the day of a few hours before the game, you will be able to get tickets for under $10. Got 2nd level tickets to the Philly game last week, centre ice for $30 US, including the fees. Those are $100 + tickets usually.

Any suggestions on what time to show up for Mondays game to get the bobble head? Puck drop is 7:30.
