Why wouldn't WalMart accept Visas? What is this? The 60s?

It's a long-running feud about "swipe fees" that the credit card companies & processors charge to merchants. Previously Walmart has been the aggressor in the battle, filing several lawsuits against Visa and other credit card companies. This seems to be the first proactive action by Visa to push back, with their previous tactics being countersuits against Walmart followed by settlements.
