Side thing, I bought the board game for This War of Mine and holy shit, it's a lot. Like a lot a lot.

Started Lies of P because of the DLC - at Act 6. 2nd boss gave me some trouble until I realized I needed to parry more. Going with an elemental build. I feel like I have decent weapons for each mob type now. I had to laugh out loud when I didn't take the durability on weapons seriously and my weapon broke in a fight I was doing well in.

Bloodborne is my favorite game all time, and people were not wrong that this is "nearly" it. Having a good time. The Sekiro style parry is superior to the Bloodborne parry, they made some nice upgrades I wish Bloodborne had. Stagger/exhaustion into a heavy attack into a massive "visceral" style attack is just fun.

Lies of P is easily my favorite SoulsLike not made by FromSoft. They copied the formula pretty closely, but changed up enough to make it feel fresh. The ability to swap weapon handles out is pretty cool. My favorite change is how you can 'rally' to earn Pulse Cells when you've used them all. I only managed to beat an endgame boss because of that feature.

Actually, my favorite change they just introduced recently with the DLC patch. You can now add Ergo to your total from the level up screen, based on what you have in your inventory, and it'll tell you when you have enough to level up AND how many levels. Just a fantastic little QoL feature.
 
Ok who else picked up the Gex Trilogy today? Loved those games! I have all the originals still and picked up a physical copy from LRG, but had to get the digital version bc I can't wait for the physical copy to arrive because I am an impatient child.
 
Decided to give Death Stranding another try.

Found it boring initially, but this 2nd try 2 years later is getting more and more interesting as I move further through/into it.

Gonna see about finishing this before the 2nd one comes out next week
