OT: Video Game Thread Part VIII

I'm into act 2 of Tsushima and I feel like I won't finish
It becomes real samey after awhile. Killed my enthusiasm for the game. Fun, just nowhere near enough variety to the gameplay. Hopefully they’ve fixed that issue in Ghost of Yotei

I work there too! The benefits are incredible. Pay too!

Unrelated, Lies of P DLC shadow dropped today!
I was just about to @ you lol. I checked like a week ago for a release date, and all the articles I found just said 'Summer 2025'. Them just dropping it with zero fanfare is wild. Not that I'm complaining, mind you.

As far as shitty retail jobs go, Costco is pretty great. I started in 2021 making $17, and I'm already up to $25. Hell, when I started I was pushing carts, and making more money than I was at my previous job as a shift leader/interim catering manager at a local restaurant chain. If we could just figure out how to make the members stop acting like absolute knobs, it would be almost perfect.

I don’t work in a warehouse. I was fortunate I got hired in the 2nd training class right when a call center in my area opened up. Was able to move up fast because it was a brand new call Center location. Supervisor pay without any of the hassle that Supervisors have to deal with. I’m beyond grateful for it because I’ve had more than my fair share of bad jobs previously.

I haven't even started it yet lol. I made the mistake of starting NG+ on my first run, and I'm only up to the Arcade on my second.

I recommend not finishing a NG+ run lol. The DLC enemies can knock you out in 3 hits in NG+. That’s with 50 vitality mind you. The DLC on NG++ would probably be nightmarishly difficult

trying to decide if i wanna pick up Cyberpunk on Days of Play sale... tetering on if i am actually gonna play through it again or not

also whoever way back said Tsushima gets repetitive...spot on

Repetitive and easy, but not a bad relaxation, visually appealing, story game. Sometimes it is braindead fun to just rush into a huge crowd and just take all comers. It's a game I beat and then traded in. I will likely play the follow up, but they will need to tune it up and come up with a unique story.
