OT: Video Game Thread Part VII

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I’m still only at 34/38GB, 45 minutes later, with a physical disc in the system and hardwired to the modem. This is some bullshit.
I just want to yell at 13 year olds in peace. Is that too much to ask?

Just wait until you see how many glitches and things that need to be fixed there are. There’s another hefty update in the near future.

There just taking the piss here now. 38GB update at launch followed by some random update and then needing to download a multiplayer update. F.

First round hard point 25 kills, 4360 points. I believe a fella named NippleSoda killed me the most. Level seemed to be a hotel. Nice layout on that level.

What the f*** man?
How do I know how to unlock attachments? Camo tells me I have to do such and such. Attachments don’t say dick. I’m digging the M4 but the recoil blows, a foregrip should tighten it all up.

It should say on the left of the screen when you hover over the locked attachment.

Like “Reach level 8 with the Hurricane” or something like that.

To get the second stock for the first marksmen rifle, I have to get this to level 14 to unlock the second battle rifle to level that up to j don’t know what to get the marksman rifle stock unlocked. What the hell.

Like @Striiker said it comes out later this month. But if you are potentially looking for a hardcore game I would suggest Insurgency Sandstorm. It’s much more slow paced and has almost no progression other than one class being locked until you reach a certain level. Each class has different weapons to choose from but there are a limited number of spots in each class so everyone on a team can’t abuse one class. Not sure what platform you are on but it’s available on PS, Xbox, and PC. Hell Let Loose is another hardcore shooter set in WW2 available on the big platforms as well.

Are the going to add the barracks or whatever they call it where you are able to look at your stats to the next update (November 16?) to Modern Warfare 2?
 
I lose every gun fight in this game. Guys just sprint into a door where I’m already pre-aiming and shred me. :laugh:
 
Kinda curious to see what Midnight Suns will be like.

Love turn-based, love XCOM (developed by same team), but have zero interest in Marvel/DC based stuff. And it's a deck builder.... which can really be hit and miss.

Guess it might have to do until XCOM 3.

Yeah that is super irritating! I think that’s the result of UAV spam and jumping around corners which has always been borderline game breaking. If you don’t have ghost and you stop moving for even a couple seconds they are all over you. If they have a UAV and I don’t have ghost I have to keep moving.
