Once upon a time, I thought he was a good troll, albeit a player with the ability to become an elite troll.

While he no longer looks to be quite on that vector, he reminds me of the line that the Islanders called “Best 4th Line in Hockey.” Clutterbuck was a hitting leader who could sniff 20G because he had “that shot”, Martin was a beast of a hitter and Cizikas knew his defense.

Kolesar possesses a mix of the qualities of all three in varying amounts, with a mix of defensive prowess, hitting, and a deceptively solid wrister.

Glad he’s sticking around. Any coach can cuff him and Nic Roy together and get a 4th line that would be a 3rd line on a lot of other teams.
