Vet Goalie Consideration?

If Quick isn't ready, and god I hope he takes his time this time--I was hoping for a summer of rest and rehab, not fixing another injury--we'll see Jones start and likely imo a cheap vet backup that's still jobless signed. There's plenty of those guys to go around now.

I'd be satisfied with Jones starting and Vokoun backing him up until Quick is ready. Khabibulin and Bryzgalov have character issues in their past, don't think they would fit into the Kings locker room. I think Brodeur is done in the NHL, don't see a fit for him anywhere, the music has stopped and he doesn't have a chair. That's nice he wants to be a starter, not going to happen, maybe in Russia.

Ehh, there is a lot of guys on the Kings right now that have had "character issues" in their past. Richards, Carter, Gaborik, Stoll, Doughty. Even King was once thought of as too lazy to make the NHL in juniors.
