You have Chuck + Drouin starting to have this great Chemistry and you split them on the PP ?
While Patches who has score recently on the PP is not a great PP player .

I would flip them and have Patches on the 2nd wave . He could still get some time and maybe gets better chances .

I'd take Pacioretty off the first wave and put Galchenyuk there instead. Galchenyuk can one time a puck from where Pacioretty often sets up but can't one time the puck to save his life. The year Galchenyuk scored 30 goals he was lethal one timing the puck from the faceoff circle. Drouin feeding Galchenyuk passes instead of Pacioretty will result in a much needed increase in PP goals IMO. Not a fan of Pacioretty on the PP at all.

I agree 100%. I do think Galchenyuk deserves to be where Pacioretty is on the 1st wave. Although I believe that the reason Max is on the 1st and Alex on the 2nd is because they want to probably split the scoring threats and make both waves dangerous.

I'd still prefer Alex with Drouin, Hudon, Shaw, and Weber taking up 90 seconds or the full 2 minutes because I think they'd be good enough to cause damage on the man advantage.

Is something wrong with Mete? Ice time keeps decreasing, not playing with Webber, mostly invisible offensively? Could he be release in 3 weeks for the world juniors? Compare him to Sam Girard, similar age , similar style, Girard seems to be progressing while Mete is stagnating. Of course, Mete is only a fourth round pick playing on a stacked junior team in London while Girard is a second round pick who carried his team.
His potential reminds me of Beaulieu, another grossly overrated dman playing on an all star junior team. Time will tell with Mete, but he's done nothing for the past 10 games.

Why is Mete stagnating and Girard is progressing ?

Mete doesn't play more because Julien is a dumb coach, here I said it. He's dumb as rocks and the only thing separating him from Therrien is that he's a good tactical coach and he's not dumb as rock when it comes to in game adjustment.

Also, London wasn't stacked, lol.

They are playing well together since a couple of games. Why not ?

Probably for the same reasons Emelin with Weber was not a great idea. Works for now. But if you don't find a solution before the playoffs you're not winning a cup with Benn on your first pairing. Managing a team now instead of when it counts is probably the worst way to manage a team.

this is just getting ******ed now.

Mete on the wing, good god. That 4th line is beer league

The Habs are just giving Mark Streit one last farewell tribute by playing Mete on the wing. :sarcasm: Was Julien the Habs coach when Streit broke in with the Habs and played both forward and defense?

Sweet tribute to GSP, the only bright story in Montreal this year.

Is Mitchell injured? If not Julien must really hate the guy if he can't play on the 4th line over what he's dressing there tonight.
