Is something wrong with Mete? Ice time keeps decreasing, not playing with Webber, mostly invisible offensively? Could he be release in 3 weeks for the world juniors? Compare him to Sam Girard, similar age , similar style, Girard seems to be progressing while Mete is stagnating. Of course, Mete is only a fourth round pick playing on a stacked junior team in London while Girard is a second round pick who carried his team.
His potential reminds me of Beaulieu, another grossly overrated dman playing on an all star junior team. Time will tell with Mete, but he's done nothing for the past 10 games.

He’s being brought along slowly. Your analysis is way off in my opinion. He still looks great in his limited ice time and is doing well defending the rush and transitioning to offence. I think he’s a better player than Beaulieu already and a much better prospect. Beaulieu lacks hockey sense, Mete has an abundance.

Mete bottom pairing + Benn paired with Weber is better than Benn in bottom pairing
Mete can be loaned to his junior team

It is called "being a young rookie" fresh out of the OHL. He did not had the luxury, like Sergachev, to be surrounded by a bunch of all star players. And unlike Sergachev, he was asked to play over 18 minutes a game for a good while. The kid is exhausted, playing above his physical capabilities. I would not be surprised if the Habs would send him down to OHL or send him to the Canada Junior Team for the December Tournament.

Time for Schlemko to come back OR for MB to make a significant trade to find a good #2 d-man.

OR, try Jerebek now.

I won't see the game tonight but I don't have a good feeling about this game for the Habs. When I get this feeling though the Habs usually end up winning so here's hoping. It's pretty much a certain that PLD will score AT LEAST 1 goal for CBJ just because.

"For those about to rock... Fire! *Cannon Fires* We Salute You!"

Gunna be hearing that a few times tonight.

We watched a game in Columbus. My youngest was 3 at the time. He was freaked out. He kept looking across the arena for the impact lol

Watching LavoieDubé, they mentioned that Hudon will be on the 1st wave PP with Drouin, Shaw, Pacioretty, and Weber. While the 2nd wave is Gallagher, Danault, Byron, Galchenyuk, and Petry.

Hmm so Drouin and Chuck both playing point on their respective wave. Drouin trying to find Patches or Webs will be predictable, so I have a feeling Chuck's wrister and Gally/Danault's flair for rebounds may be more successful.

I did like having Hudon on the 2nd wave because Drouin quarterbacks the 1st wave and Hudon can the 2nd wave. He has good puck control, patience, and good vision. However, I think having Hudon and Drouin on the same wave could potentially end PPs on the 1st wave.

I'd take Pacioretty off the first wave and put Galchenyuk there instead. Galchenyuk can one time a puck from where Pacioretty often sets up but can't one time the puck to save his life. The year Galchenyuk scored 30 goals he was lethal one timing the puck from the faceoff circle. Drouin feeding Galchenyuk passes instead of Pacioretty will result in a much needed increase in PP goals IMO. Not a fan of Pacioretty on the PP at all.

This team lacks a left handed D on the PP.

Let's hope Schlemko or Jerabek could bring that element.
