I thought Kerfoot would go better with Nylander/Matthews while Bunting could go with Marner/Tavares

I thought Kerfoot and Marner on the same line woudl mean them passing it back and forth and never shoot.

When JT and Mitch we’re together to start the season, they looked like two guys who knew it was only temporary until 34 returned. Since the lines were moved, they look more in synch, more committed, better chemistry.

More likely it took a few games for Marner to adjust to working with Tavares vs. working with Matthews. You could see in the first few games that Marner was passing ahead of Tavares a lot... Which would put the puck where Matthews probably would have been.
