2nd period we got goalied for sure. Suzuki could have had a natural hattrick in that one.

Team was pretty flat most of the game outside of the 2nd when they dominated.

Soderblom 1st star. Caufield played great. He has really improved his skating. Kid is fast now. He flies into the offensive zone.

Hutson does need to go away from the toe drag & move into shooting & making plays. 4th goal was because he decided to toe drag in offensive zone instead of taking a shot (he had a lane) or just make a play. It created a turn over & odd man rush the other way.

1st line was the only one that could sustain pressure. All the other lines mostly sucked - even the Evans line.

Congratulations to Caufield on his 20th goal & Heineman on his 10th (on the PP).

Bring back Laine & Savard tomorrow, please.

Habs 40 shots tonight. 2 goals.

Players that played the worst tonight are the ”kids”. Slaf, Guhle, Hutson and Struble. No effort. Lazy plays. Half asleep. Carrier wasn’t good either.

I have no idea what the f*** is St Louis problem with Pezz. The dude came out and was skating hard and hitting everything in sight. What a douche move to bench him. It’s not like anyone else stepped up.

Back to reality I guess.

I am dissapoint. I want to be critical of a few guys but I won't do it tonight.
I feel the same. I'm more sad than mad. It's a tough one to lose, especially if we lose again tomorrow.

Laine and Savy were missed tonight and I guess they won't play tomorrow either.

Just when I was excited to watch the team play again.

Drop off from Laine to Pezz dispenser on that line was enormous

Hughes will give Slaf another talking to
Maybe they need a new shooting coach. Guy forgot to tell him some important pointers like: Shoot the puck. Not on legs. Get the shot off you’re not starting a lawnmower. Practice your shot again after this lesson.

plays Michael "McDavid" Pezzeta 6 mins = idiot coach
Commentary during that game from the Chicago cast: They noticed that during our latest victory streak, shifts were kept short and everyone pushed in one direction taking their fare share. Take Laine out of the lineup and then suddenly shifts stretch, Pezz barely plays and they lose against the worst club in the league.

So yeah: Idiot coach.

I’d combine that with skating lessons too. His feet never move.

Our D deployment was a joke and I called it before the game.
Matheson with 28 minutes and Xhekaj with 9 minutes it's actually 1 minute less than I thought.
Not to mention Struble was lost more often than not.
