Prospect Info: Vegas Golden Knights Prospect/Henderson Silver Knights AHL Thread II

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Lindbom's keeping it up! 41/42 saves today, SOG were 42-19.
Last period was 25 goals against and he made some out of the world saves where he stopped first shot then rebound and second rebound.

He is friggin amazing, however I really hope he gets to stay one more season in SHL since it's only his second full senior season and both has been interrupted with injuries. A full season with Legace as his back-up and some more national games will only make him more ready. I really don't think we've seen such a talent since Henrik Lundqvist.

I've seen all the current NHL keepers and I can't remember anyone of them being this good so young.

Feel sorry for any prospects drafted here.
Mourn for Hague, and to a lesser degree all the others who are still with the org or got claimed off waivers.

As for first rounders: Unless their name is Cody Glass the traded ones are for premier talents, and they usually think that fact is pretty swell.

We should be looking for NCAA and Euro FAs with extra attention to augment what remains of our picks.

We probably will remain a UFA destination, have great pro scouts for trades and have some still young players on the roster but a couple Whitecloud-esque pickups in the next few years sure wouldn't hurt.

Lindbom selected to the national team playing 2 against in Finland against Finland, we'll see how far he makes it, 2 more events after that and then Worlds which makes 3 rounds of cuts.

Vegas has a thin prospect pool but I question how much this particular person knows about it.

Korczak was better than Whitecloud and probably Hague when he played in the NHL for 26 games last season. He was only sent back because we had eight top six defensemen last year and cap issues and he was the only one who didn't need waivers. He's an NHL ready defenseman right now who could even break out to a top four next season.

So the fact that he's sixth on this list and way behind Cormier in first, who is a good distance behind where Korczak is in development, makes me think whoever put this list together doesn't know much about the Golden Knights prospects. Can't speak to what they may not know about others.

Let alone being behind Denisenko who is not an NHL level player.
