Yes, it's exactly who you thought it would be:

:wings

2028 1st round pick
UFA Rights to Rasmus Andersson
Jeremy Davies

:vegas

Justin Faulk (50% retained)

Don't shit on me. The concept here is that Vegas ($92.25M in cap with Dorofeyev and others to re-sign) can't afford to re-sign Andersson. If you're a Vegas fan and you feel they can, obviously this is a non-starter for you.

Vegas gets a 2nd pairing RHD for only $3.25M on their cap. Detroit "Loses" when you consider the value difference of what they just paid for Faulk, (I'm equating Andersson's rights value to Raddysh's) but this is pretty much contingent on them coming to an agreement with Andersson beforehand.

As part of a contract agreement, Andersson gets the head of that guy who hit him on the scooter in Detroit a couple years ago.

And I threw in Jeremy Davies just so me and other Wings fans can yell "F*** YOU UPHAM" at Grand Rapids games... (Please somebody get this reference)

Following this thread just so I can find out what this reference is

Apparently the Larkin clickbait title interested nobody… If you haven’t seen Saving Private Ryan you won’t get it. The actor who played Upham is named Jeremy Davies.

I'm guessing with what's being said about Yzerman not being interested in futures for Larkin, he has some intention of getting a C one way or another.
