GDT: Vegas At Buffalo: 12:30 PM ET - We don't Know "Jack" Sh*t

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
Byram could have lowered the shoulder and killed Jack there.

Done with you

Who will be next?
No one has nearly enough pride of the jersey they wear to do it

Maybe Dahlin or tuch would ...

But to the hockey world Jack is the guy that escaped a terrible place and won a cup. For one of our guys to run him, they'd be firmly entrenching themselves in this organization which (somewhat understandably) no one seems to want to do

It would make the finisher a lot more interesting to teams that have to play against Eichel if they know someone has made it personal.

As for players to pay back, Byram still owes Kolesar an unimpeded run up and jumping hit into Kolesar's head. Eye for an eye and all that, just like what Kolesar did to him.

The head is the main point of contact.

"Rolex to the next guy who concusses one of Vegas' top players" -- what a coach with real passion for the game would be offering up during intermission, vs the coach we got who's been mentally fishing in Montana for the past 3 months.

That is quite a stretch, this team has been charming soft and as the year went on it's gotten much better under Ruff. The Thompson hit was a real find yourself moment and they are reacting appropriately. This team needs to find their stones and they need to add a bottom 6 knuckle dragger who can play 12 min and a bottom 6 knuckle dragger who can play 10 min.

Umm, no it hasn't. Not even close. Maybe a couple guys are buying in -- Krebs just now, Thompson has setpped up a couple times -- but the overall p***y ethos of the team is on display nightly.

Just catching up on the game... I actually thought it was a clean hit.

Regardless, I'm old school. So the following mentality applies here: "They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue."

But this group is a bunch of p***yes, so there will be some fake fights, no targeting of Vegas' guys, and they'll ultimately lose the game too.

So you are saying, with a straight face, this team hasn't stepped up and defended themselves and their teammates over the last few months?

By no means are they feared but there is now repercussions for actions, has been that way since the John Scott era

We wish.

What we get: "They pull a knife, you pull a tweezer. He sends one yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the Maldives."

Few months? No, last 2 games? Yes.

Wasn't it two games ago Samuelsson 6'4 watched while Bryson 5'9 jumped into the scrum?

And the second that leaked out Ruff would be suspended indefinitely from hockey.

This intermission is when Dahlin needs to stand up and grab ahold of the room.

It depends on how the NHL feels like enforcing their own rules. The principal point of contact was the head, which is illegal by their rules, I don't care if Kulich made a split second decision or whatever they will use to say Howden isn't getting a fine.

This is where we miss a Kaleta where, if that happened, people were aware when he stepped on the ice. He was a dink but he was our dink.

Vegas would love a boring 3rd period where they eek out a road win.

And that's exactly what these wuss bags in blue will give them.

Please, please prove me wrong.
