Imagine thinking you can get the most underrated player in the league, who was just locked up long term to a decent cap hit, by throwing in Coyle.

And one of the best power forwards to boot.

You wouldn't happen to be talking Ryan Reaves with his career high of 13 points? I know power forwards may be a dying breed but lets not lower the bar too much.

We have one of the higher scoring defensive units and have had for the last couple years; Schmidt is very good, but isn't exactly a need. Reaves isn't anything.

Minnesota Pissed away high draft picks on trash players in Martin Hanzal and Ryan White 2 years ago, why not go after a real physical presence in Reaves? They kept bringing up that White was that but he brought what a -7 +/- in the little play he had here.

The first was for Hanzal who paced as a 40+ point player for us while he was here. Wild don't need Reaves, but if they were to acquire him, it certainly wouldn't be for a high pick. Or anything of real value.

Exactly, we gave a 1st for Hanzal to be a 3rd line center as a rental. What a waste.
