I thought we made an improved effort tonight and could have easily won except for a few defensive miscues.

One or two small mistakes (looking at your Baron) made the difference tonight. I was impressed with Comrie and the new guy (Coughlin) but let's face it the Knights are a powerful team. We're having the oft-predicted rough patch with a killer schedule but it's almost over and ---- we're still in first place!
Very right Innana, this Vegas team is talented, and a powerful team, and we played them very well tonight. Jets played hard til the final bell, and it could have went either way. Good effort by the Jets tonight. We will start to beat this team eventually, but they are good.

you jungles and jetsfan815 should create a group chat where you go over how bad the jets are!

Man I have been high on the Jets all season. You keep going off on people everytime the Jets the Jets lose. What did I say that was so bad? People are allowed to blow off a little steam in PGTs after a loss without feeling like they are walking on eggshells. Anyways hope you are doing well.

I dint think Comrie was bad but that's a win wth 37 in
That decision irked me before the game began. He just played against Nashville. Surely Hellebuyck gets the away start against the Pacific leading Knights? This is a game for your number one guy. Put Comrie in against St. Louis. I'm not blaming the loss on Comrie, or even that decision. I'm just trying to wrap my head around it.

lol, 95% of your posts are complaining even during wins you will find things that are wrong and they take up most of it... bringing up chisholm and kovacevic all the time like they lost two forslings acting like someone got "jumped" because they were called out after coming in after the few bad games/losses we had that the jets are actually a bad team and will not fall for it... there are plenty of people that criticize the jets play and I don't call them out "go off on" because those posters don't complain every single post about every little thing

On the plus side, that was a better game than the one against LA. On the downside, there's plenty. The Jets' attack has been neutered somewhat by playing actually good teams. The Jets are a good team, but they don't have the skill to elevate themselves above just being a good team. Looks like we really undersold just how impactful Samberg was going to be for that second pairing. They've looked downright dreadful without him to anchor that pair. Hope Ehlers isn't out to long, and that we get an update on him soon.
Scott Arneil said on the post game show, Ehlers is day to day. Hope he's right.. Usually if a player slams his stick after being injured, like Nik did, it's usually not good, as they feel something pop or give. Just hope for good news on him. I think it's an ankle.

Be interesting if Nik is out long term who the Jets call up, putting Gus in the lineup or calling up AJF does not move the needle one bit. We have enough bottom six on this team unless they are planning of move A I to the second line which would be a very Jets way of doing things.

We are getting prime post All Star Break Jets experience in November. @johnnyonthspot got heat for suggesting a losing streak might becoming after the Nashville game but looks right in hindsight.

Coghlan had a good game.

Now that have lost Kova and Chisholm both of whom are thriving on contenders, you have to wonder if that story is gonna repeat with Heinola. Scratched after 2 games is barely a chance at all.
Thanks for the pointing out my comment, which truly came from a place of concern. I am upset it is coming to fruition but injuries and poor player management may catch up to them sooner than many anticipated.

Sigh. 500 hockey last 10 games. Extremely tough road trip but disappointing regardless. Several games were absolute stinkers. Now the team is facing adversity with a losing streak, injuries, and that glorious start looking a lot lucky.

Still in first place (until tomorrow if the Wild win).

Well said. If we are on this site we are passionate fans . We need to support each other and perhaps talk eachother down from the ledge once in a while. I am happy I have this outlet.

I mean, they said the Jets would go on a 4 game losing streak starting with the Preds game, and the Jets didn't.

Turns out if you stay negative enough and always predict a team is going to go on a losing streak, it's likely you'll be right at some point.

In fact, I can do it too. I'll quote myself when this comes true.

Hm. This team is shaky. I feel a 6 goal loss is looming.

31 franchises will have fans saying "I told you we wouldn't win" it's literally the easiest prediction to make, you also should add the fact that he claimed he would be the first to admit he was wrong but then decided to move the goal posts after he won

Lambert is the natural fit in terms of style of play. I'd be giving him a look. We are already down a decent amount if skill with Fly out and Scheife banged up and clearly playing below his capabilities

I guessing the reasoning for putting Comrie in tonight was they wanted Helle for the divisional game, lets see how that works out. By the way I thought Comrie played not to bad tonight.

To me Helle didn't look mentally sharp against the Kings. It was probably smart to give him some days off to recharge.

I have a feeling that they just move A I up with Vladdy and Koal for the Dallas game and reassess when they get back home

Its an unfortunate result thats for sure, but we played much better tonight than we did in nashville or LA
I dub thee, "best loss of the season" (aside from ehlers getting injured)
This game would've been ours had a few select players not made terrible decisions. We played well for the most part so im not super unhappy. We are still an excellent team.

Next.

So the injuries start first Samberg now Nik, every team has to deal with them. Jets need to get thru the next couple of weeks or so and put this shit scheduling behind them. No real break till the third week of December

It will be Gus, they are not gonna let a guy sit in the PB from almost 2 months and then be bypassed by someone from the Moose. I am higher on Gus than most and think he will be good on that 4th line. No one can replace Ehlers so we just have to hope that it's a minor injury.

Hey I didn't recall the details of the wager just remembered them taking a beating over multiple pages in that PGT so thought I'd big up them a bit. Not saying they are Nostradamus.

Yes, put in Lambert. He's fast and talented like Ehlers is. There's no use playing 4th line plugs like AJF or other guys. Time to get aggressive and see what our young prospects can do.
